Trevor Wood is set to begin his first season as a member of Park University Gilbert’s men’s and women’s soccer coaching staffs.

 

Wood’s coaching career began in 2015 as the head coach of Legacy Soccer Club, a position he held until 2018. In 2015, Wood also began working with Real Salt Lake Arizona, serving as both an assistant, staff or head coach for over 20 RSL-AZ teams. He was also an assistant coach for the Chandler High School girl’s soccer team from 2016-2019; at Chandler, Wood served as an assistant to fellow Buccaneers soccer coach, Joe Paulsen. Wood succeeded Paulsen and was promoted to head coach ahead of the 2019-2020 season

 

As a two-sport athlete at Tempe High School, Wood played two seasons of varsity soccer and ran two seasons of track (pole vault, 400M Hurdles, 4x800) for the Buffaloes. Wood graduated from Tempe as the valedictorian.

 

After high school, Wood went on to Northern Arizona University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences, then his master’s in secondary education from University of Phoenix.
