Lasse Binder joins Jack Hartley's staff after spending the 2020-21 season as both the head coach of the U19 Girls at Bismarck Magic and an assistant coach at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D.

The native of Hamburg, Germany, played goalkeeper for the University of Jamestown from 2015 to 2019 and for the University of Mary from 2019 to 2020.  He has professional and semi-pro experience playing with SC Vorwärts-Wacker in Germany’s 5th tier and the Dakota Fusion in the NPSL.

Binder was named All-Conference and All-IAA Conference Tournament Team in 2017.

He graduated from Jamestown with bachelor's degrees in business and physical education in 2019 then graduated from Mary in 2021 with a Master of Business Administration.
