Park University (AZ)

Marcus Carter enters his first season as a member of the Buccaneers' men's basketball coaching staff. He comes to Park Gilbert with experience as a Player Development Coach and Recruiting Coordinator CYM Prep where he worked on player development, strength and conditioning and helped players get looked at by colleges.

Prior to CYM Prep, Carter spent two years as an assistant coach at Nathan Hale High School. His responsibilities included running practices, implementing game plans, scouting, player development and strength and conditioning. He also started a recruiting company to help under recruited athletes get scholarship opportunities.

Carter is a 2004 graduate of Hammond High School in Hammond, La. where he played four years of varsity basketball and two each of varsity baseball and football.
