ALISO VIEJO, Calif. --- The Great Southwest Athletic Conference announced its softball all-conference and gold glove teams Monday afternoon.
Four Park University Gilbert athletes were named to the all-conference and gold glove teams: Ari Fjeldsted (all-conference), Noelle Gumm (all-conference), Bri Titus (all-conference), and Anna Chavez (gold glove).
Fjeldsted was also named the 2026 GSAC Freshman of the Year, becoming the first athlete in the program's seven-year history to win a conference freshman of the year. Ari led the GSAC in hits (75), runs scored (56), held the fourth-highest batting average (.457) and the fifth-highest on-base percentage (.503).
The center fielder and leadoff hitter shattered multiple Park-Gilbert single-season records in the first year of her collegiate career, including batting average, hits, runs scored. Ari would've had the stolen base record with 29, but fellow teammate and newcomer Dionna Leanio posted 31 stolen bases this year.
The other two Buccaneers listed on the GSAC all-conference team were the three and four-hitters in the batting order: junior Noelle Gumm and freshman Bri Titus.
Gumm has made an all-conference first team in each of her three collegiate seasons. The Gilbert, Ariz. native led the GSAC in runs batted in with 53, which set a new school single-season record. Her seven home runs this year were good enough for a seventh-place tie in the conference. Noelle is one of the longest-tenured Buccaneers, as she now holds the program's all-time career record for hits (169), RBIs (92), home runs (13), and total bases (248).
Another freshman who made immediate impacts this season was Bri Titus, who hit the third most home runs in the GSAC with 11. Her .630 slugging percentage was good enough to crack the conference's top-10. Titus shattered Park's previous single-season home run record of seven, and she became the first player in program history to log multiple grand slams in one season (2).
The lone Park-Gilbert member of the GSAC Gold Glove team this season was first baseman and right fielder Anna Chavez. The transfer from South Mountain Community College had the seventh most putouts in the GSAC with 169, and posted a .973 fielding percentage on the year. Chavez didn't commit an error all season in the outfield.
