Recap

The Bucs fought hard but lost a tough four-setter in their season finale to La Sierra. Dominic Smith had 19 kills, his second highest total this season behind the 22 he had in the season opener. His 199 kills this season gives him the two highest single season kill marks in school history. He is second on the all-time career kills list and is just 41 kills from the all-time school record.

Park and LSU split the first two sets as both teams were neck and neck offensively. La Sierra had more kills in the first and third sets, while the Bucs had more in sets two and four.

Unfortunately, the Bucs were not able to take advantage of the kills advantage in the final set, losing 25-22.

In addition to his 19 kills, Smith also added four blocks to lead the team. Brandon Leyva had 26 assists to lead the team, three short of his career high against Rockford earlier this season.
