Hoar Posts Double-Double as Bucs lose at ACU

The Park University Gilbert women's basketball team dropped its fourth conference contest on the season to Arizona Christian University 60-50 at the ACU Events Center in Glendale, Ariz. All four of the losses have come on the road.

Game Notes

- Larken Hoar posted her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. She also kicked in three assists. The 10 rebounds were a career high.

- This is the first game this season the Bucs lost after winning the first quarter. Park was 3-0 this year after outscoring the opposition in the opening frame before today.

- After making seven shots in the first quarter and shooting 37 percent from the field to take the lead, the Bucs struggled to find the range the remainder of the game, shooting 17 percent (9-52) over the final three quarters to finish at 21.2 percent. This is the lowest FG percentage for a Bucs team in a game in program history.

Up Next

The Buccaneers return to the court on Tuesday with a quick opportunity to get the bad taste of this game out of their mouths. They host La Sierra at 5:30 p.m. at Arizona Athletic Grounds. This will be the Bucs first home game since December 4 and the first conference home game since November 20.
