VB Falls in Five-Set Thriller at Life Pacific

The Park University Gilbert volleyball team played another barn-burning five-set match but for the first time this season, lost in the final set to Life Pacific 3-2 (17-25, 25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 14-16). The Bucs fall to 4-10 overall and 1-3 in the Great Southwest Athletic Conference.

BUCCANEER SUPERLATIVES

-          The Bucs lost for the first time when leading two sets to one (now 1-1)

-          Lick's 18 kills were just one off of her freshman record of 19 set against Florida College.

-          Park Gilbert was credited with nine solo blocks to set a new single match school record.

-          Aliya Unseth had three solo blocks for the third time this season which is a school record. (Elizabeth Clemit, pulled the trick twice in 2021.

-          Unseth also set the school record for solo blocks in a season with 12.

-          Keep Williams set a career high for digs in a match with 22. This was also her first time with double digit digs in a match.

-          Freshman Brianna Bowman played her first significant minutes this season and put away five kills with 0 errors and hit .500  

-          Adrianna DeMario posted her third match with 40 or more assists and her fifth double-double.
