GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Park University Gilbert men's soccer team (3-2-1, 1-0-1) tied their match against Arizona Christian University (2-2-1, 0-0-1), Thursday night on the road in Glendale.
The first draw of the regular season for the Buccaneers ended with a 0-0 score as both teams couldn't find the back of the net, despite the offensive opportunities at hand.
The Bucs and the Firestorm combined for 33 shots on the evening, 16 of which coming from Park-Gilbert. Half of those shots were on goal, each of them saved by Firestorm goalkeeper Emiliano Vega.

Zac Stephenson also got the clean sheet in this 0-0 draw, stopping the two shots on goal from Arizona Christian.
The Buccaneers men's soccer team returns to play next Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8:00 p.m. MST against Life Pacific (1-3-0, 0-1-0) at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Ariz. This will mark the team's first home match in over a month.
