PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Park University Gilbert men's basketball team (0-2) lost to the Multnomah University Lions (2-0), Thursday afternoon at Lytle Gym in Portland, Ore.
This first stint of a back-to-back for the Buccaneers ended in a close 69-74 loss, as this game only saw a total of two lead changes all day.
Sophomore guard
Tanner Pate led the scoring charge for Park-Gilbert, shooting 6-11 for 17 points with five assists on 30 minutes played. Senior forward
Aidan Moreno scored an efficient 11 points with eight rebounds, shooting 5-7 on the day.
An impressive 34 points from the Buccaneers' bench also contributed to the game staying close throughout.
Park-Gilbert looks to bounce back and quickly look ahead to their game against Warner Pacific tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 p.m. MST at the C.C. Perry Gym in Portland, Ore.
