Biography
Park Gilbert (2020-21): Did not officially run for the Buccaneers in 2020-21.
High School: A 2020 graduate of Arizona College Preparatory in Chandler, Ariz... four-year varsity letterman... team captain as a senior... ran cross country and track... posted personal bests of 26:08.4 in the three mile, 23:39.0 in the 5,000 meters and 25:23.4 in the 5K... also long jumped a 14'4 and triple jumped a 28-0.25... the Knights finished 2nd in the section and 10th (of 24) in the state meet her senior year... her junior year, they finished 16th in the state and finished fifth in the state at the 2A level her freshman year... made the 3A all-academic team her senior year and was named the most improved on the team... won a Chandler Unified School District award for h a 4.0 GPA or higher, was named an Impact Scholar in 2020 and AP Scholar in 2019... also played soccer for the Knights her junior and senior years.
Personal: Majoring in psychology... wants to attend grad school after finishing her bachelor's... parents are Juan and Maria... has one sister, Mizael (21)... first generation college athlete.
