Biography
Park Gilbert (2020-21): One of the fastest-improving runners on the Buccaneers track team... made her collegiate debut at the USATF Open/Masters with a 14.02a 100 meter... ran a 14.03 in the 100 meters and 30.64 in the 200 meters at the ACU Firestorm Invitational... finished third in the 100 meters (13.90) and fourth in the 200 meters (29.90) at the ACU Invitational... set personal and school records with a time of 13.11 in the 100-meter dash at the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational.
High School: A 2020 graduate of Leading Edge Academy Gilbert Early College in Gilbert, Ariz... ran cross country and track... posted personal bests of 14.03 in the 100 meter, 27.68 in the 200 meter and 57.07 in the 4x100 meter... also played one year of varsity softball for the Spartans... totaled three varsity letters... won the Sparatan school award for track and was a member of the National Honors Society.
Personal: Majoring in business management... hopes to have a career in law... parents are Antonio and Stephanie... has one brother, Elias (14)... grandfather was a long jumper at the University of Texas at El Paso.
