Connor Paine joins the men's soccer coaching staff as a graduate assistant after receiving a bachelors in business management from the University of Rio Grande. 

A native of Cornwall, England, Paine participated on local soccer, cricket, and rugby teams. He was the captain of his high school (Poltair School) soccer team for four years.

While playing soccer for University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande Ohio, Paine appeared in 57 matches and slated three goals. From 2017 to 2021, the squad had an overall record of 81-15-4 and were regular season conference champions. Paine was also a part of the roster that won the River States Conference tournament during the 2018, 2020, and 2021 seasons.

Paine explains, “This year will serve as the beginning of what I hope to be a long and successful coaching career.
