Local product and former professional golfer Brandon Gordon was hired as the second head coach of the men's and women's golf programs at Park University Gilbert on January 6, 2020.
Gordon got his start locally at Desert Ridge High School in Gilbert. He was a four-year starter and letter winner for the Jaguars. He was named a team captain his junior and senior seasons.
Gordon then started his collegiate career at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colo. After a year with the Grizzlies, Gordon returned home to Arizona and played for two years at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
After finishing his collegiate career, Gordon moved on to play professionally, spending time on the Gateway Tour and the Southwest Section PGA where he had two runner-up finishes and finished with a 72.25 scoring average.
Returning to the private sector, Gordon worked as an assistant golf professional at Tegavah Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. and Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz.
Gordon also owns and operates The Club Fix Phoenix, a custom golf fitting company which is ranked on Golf Digest’s list of the top 100 custom golf fitting companies in the nation. He is a certified fitter for TaylorMade, PING, Cobra, Mizuno, Titleist and Callaway clubs.
Gordon lives in Gilbert with his wife Mandie and his children Brayden, Brynlee and Blakelynn.
