New Mexico Highlands University: Played three seasons of NCAA Division II baseball for the Cowboys… coached by Shannon Hunt… over his career, Padilla pitched 57.2 innings in 35 appearances and racked up 35 strikeouts.

High School: A 2016 graduate of Mountain Range High School in Westminster, Colorado… two-year varsity letterman… coached by DJ Yeager… posted a .400 batting average and .435 on-base percentage in his senior season along with 26 hits, 12 runs batted in, 12 runs and an .894 fielding percentage… helped lead the Mustangs to state regionals in 2014… earned Front Range League All-Conference as a senior… also earned Mountain Range Pitcher of the Year as a junior… Gold Glove winner in junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Majoring in interdisciplinary studies… hopes to become a high school teacher and baseball coach upon graduation.. parents are Phil and Lisa… has two brothers: Zach (31) and Josh (27).
