University of Sioux Falls: Played two seasons of NCAA Division II baseball for the Cougars… coached by Grant Heib… posted a .269 batting average, .406 on base percentage and .346 slugging percentage.

High School: A 2017 graduate of Foothill High School in Henderson, Nevada… four-year varsity letterman.... coached by Matthew Iglitz… helped the Falcons reach the Regional Playoffs in three of his four varsity seasons with a run to the semifinals in 2014… as a senior, Elizondo was named Student Athlete of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, 2nd Team All-Sunrise and Southern Nevada Senior All-Star...
