Box Score ALISO VIEJO, Calif. — Park-Gilbert men's soccer closed out its two-game road swing with a 2-1 victory over Soka University of America Saturday night at Soka Soccer Field, improving to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in GSAC play.

Park-Gilbert opened the scoring in the 35th minute when Caden Dosmann found the back of the net to give the Buccaneers a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. Soka leveled the match in the 57th minute through Robbie Cotton, but the tie lasted just over a minute as Brody Donovan quickly answered with a goal in the 58th minute to put Park-Gilbert back in front, 2-1. Park-Gilbert held off Soka for the remainder of the match to secure its second straight road victory.

The Buccaneers finished with 15 shots and 10 shots on goal, compared to 10 shots and five on target for Soka. Park-Gilbert also held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks. Nicklas Lagesen made four saves to help preserve the victory.

The win gives Park-Gilbert a 3-1 record in GSAC play and completes a successful two-game road swing after Thursday's 4-2 victory at La Sierra. The Buccaneers return home Thursday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m. to face Arizona Christian University at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa.
