Park Places 24 Student-Athletes on GSAC Scholar Athlete Team

The Great Southwest Athletic Conference announced its spring sports scholar athletes for the 2025-26 season and Park University Gilbert was well represented on the list.

To be eligible for selection, nominees must meet GSAC academic standards, which include being a sophomore or above in academic standing, maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale—without rounding—and satisfying enrollment requirements. Student-athletes must have completed two full semesters at their current institution if they began as non-transfers, or one full year of attendance if they enrolled as transfer students. Each institution verifies eligibility according to its internal GPA calculation policies prior to nomination.

Park had 24 representatives with baseball and men's golf leading the way with five players each. Softball and beach volleyball had four players each with track and field and men's volleyball putting three players each on the squad.

It is prudent to note, each of these teams also had numerous athletes on their teams who made the 3.5 GPA requirement but did not meet the other criteria of either being a freshman or a first-year transfer. This is demonstrated by every spring sports program having a 3.0 team GPA or better this year.

There were three 4.0 GPA's in the group of 24 scholar-athletes and five athletes with a 3.9 or better. There were 45 athletes with 4.0 GPA's and 99 with a 3.9 or better across the GSAC.

Here is a listing of Park GSAC spring sport scholar-athletes for 25-26.
