The Park University Gilbert baseball team split another doubleheader with The Master's University this afternoon at Lou Herwaldt Stadium in Santa Clarita, Calif. The Bucs won a before wild first game 17-11 in 11 innings before falling in the second contest 7-4.

Recap
The Bucs bats came alive in the first game of the double header pounding out 17 hits (a season high).
Five of the knocks came off the bat of freshman Christopher Ballard who went 5-7 in the game and 7-10 for the day.
In a see-saw battle, the Bucs jumped on top 2-0, before the Mustangs answered with 8 runs in the second and third innings.
Park responded with nine runs of its own in the fourth and fifth innings with eight of them coming in the fourth as they took an 11-8 lead.
The two teams would remain scoreless until the bottom of the ninth when TMU would hit a three-run home run with two outs to tie the game at 11-all.
After a scoreless 10th, the Buc bats erupted for six runs in the top half of the 11th to seal the game.
Game two saw the Bucs fall behind 4-0 in the first and were never able to recover. After having 17 hits in game one, the Buc bats were silenced to the tune of four hits in the night cap.
Park was able to cut the lead to 7-4 after the top of the sixth, but a four-run bottom half put the game out of reach.
