MESA, Ariz. --- The Park University Gilbert beach volleyball team (2-2) lost 5-0 to the Hope International University Royals (5-3) in Day 2 of the Great Southwest Athletic Conference Arizona Round Robin, Thursday afternoon at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Ariz.

The Royals defeated the Buccaneers in all five pairs without any match going to three sets.

The 2026 GSAC Arizona Round Robin features all eight beach volleyball programs in the conference, all stacked with plenty of talent. The latest NAIA Top 10 was announced Wednesday morning, listing five GSAC teams: No. 1 OUAZ, No. 3 The Master's, No. 5 Arizona Christian, No. 7 Hope International, and No. 10 Benedictine Mesa.

The Buccaneers return to the court tomorrow, Feb. 19, for Day 3 of round robin action. They face the Life Pacific University Warriors at 11 a.m. MST, as well as The Master's University Mustangs at 1 p.m. MST at Arizona Athletic Grounds.
