GILBERT, Ariz. --- The Park University Gilbert men's soccer team (4-4-4, 2-2-4) tied at home to the Ottawa University Arizona Spirit (5-3-4, 2-3-3), Saturday night at Desert Sky Park in Gilbert, Ariz.

Defense won the day in this tight match that concluded with a 0-0 draw.

The Buccaneers only took two shots on the night to OUAZ's five. The Spirit took the only two shots on goal from both teams tonight.

Noah Yalu took both of Park-Gilbert's shots, nearly scoring in the 48
th minute with his first shot hitting the post.

Three yellow cards were handed out in this physical match, two to Park-Gilbert and one to OUAZ. The Buccaneers recorded eight fouls while the Spirit recorded four.

The Park-Gilbert men's soccer team returns to play Thursday, Oct. 17 at 8:00 p.m. MST, at home against The Master's University (6-4-2, 6-0-2) at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Ariz. The Mustangs currently sit atop the Great Southwest Athletic Conference standings.
